Eva Jeanne Markosky serves as an engineering assistant for The Markosky Engineering Group, Inc., in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. A charitable individual, Eva Jeanne Markosky supports several local affiliations, including the Covenant Presbyterian Church.
Found in Ligonier, the Covenant Presbyterian Church invites everyone to worship as it encourages people to build a relationship with God and strengthen their spiritual bonds. Established more than 200 years ago, the church currently offers two services each Sunday, at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.
During the 2017 Christmas season, the church’s Mission Committee and Youth Club organized an endeavor to help Operation Christmas Child. To support this mission, congregants took shoe boxes, filled them with gifts, and dropped them off at a designated location.
Thanks to donations made by members, the Youth Club was able to fill 30 boxes with supplies, toys, and necessities that they sent to children scattered across the globe. In addition, the other congregation members and MOPS members filled another 13 boxes. The church’s Mission Committee provided funds for the postage.
